Sunny and Jack CA2Q

Sunny and Jack (GL1800 owners) in their “Pedestrian Gear”

Well, Sunny and Jack Fischer from California came to Texas on business but had a few hours to relax amongst the trees. I first met them last Sept when I went to Dunsmuir, Ca and put on a Scavenger Hunt ride for GWRRA Chapter CA2Q of Dublin. Following the ride, I whipped up Chili w/beans for the 25 riders and co-riders.

At the beginning of the ride, I set up a “Slow Ride” station and “Push up” station, where the riders could pick up some quick bonus points. Raring to go, Sunny pumped out some man style push ups giving them an early lead in the Mini-rally. Not bad for a girl!

Push up station…One!…Two!…Three!!!

After swapping some stories and a couple of cold beers, we settled down to some Korean BBQ’d Pork Chops from my own Pig. Yum, Yum.

Although their visit was short, it was sweet and demonstrates the bond associated with those who like to ride. I hope they can ride to Texas next time, for a proper Hill Country indoctrination.

Jack and Zeke. I find that sucking in my gut is much easier than working out.

Best wishes to Sunny and Jack.  Ya’ll come back now Ya hear!
