SCHUBERTH HELMETS ARE BACK!
The best Helmets in the world in my mind are coming back to the U.S.. Finally! I had a Schuberth C2 Helmet and wore it out 3 years ago and couldn’t get a replacement because Schuberth withdrew from the U.S. Market. I found it to be the most weather worthy helmet for me to date and they were one of the first with the inside sun visor.
In the interim, I’ve tried Shoei, Arai, 3 models of HJC and the Scorpion and nothing comes close except the Scorpion in rider protection from the elements. If you are just fair weather rider and have no need to own the best, then I wouldn’t recommend dropping the cash for a Schuberth. But if you are a discriminating rider who wants the best European Motor Technology has to offer, then the Schuberth, Mercedes of Helmets is for you.
