Update
Okay, I am currently making my way back to Texas, following the PD ride and the Utah 1088 rally. I am working feverishly to catch up on my daily Posts to bring the site up to date. I am preparing to leave Santa Fe NM as we speak.
I finished 22nd in the rally out of 79 riders and rode the most miles during the rally, covering 1709 miles in 24 hours and 55 minutes. I also qualified for the IBA Bun Burner Gold Award, riding 1,500 miles in under 24 hours. I was stoked at my placing, considering the caliber of the participants. For final ride results you can go to the Utah1088 website. Look under Past Events and the 2008 Standings and there will be the placement standings and confirmed mileage listings.
My goal is to reach Lubbock tonight and catch up on this web stuff. I also may need to spend an extra day to replace my worn rear tire but with the holiday weekend, my timing sucks.
