Dragon Slayed
June 3rd. Well, did it! We rode the Dragons Tail but only after Blue Knight David Murray decided to buy a new bike at Smoky Mountain Harley Davidson. Dave went in to replace his “Cramp Buster” throttle rocker and ended up making the impulse buy of the month. After a a short delay while he traded in his old bike, we rode Hwy 129 to Deals Gap following much hype.
Slaying the Dragon
I ended up riding it twice, up and back and am currently making my home for a 510 mile ride day. The other Blue Knights continued on to Cherokee N.C. for the nights stay, as they continue to make their way to Virginia.
I arrived in Bessemer Alabama at 2315 hrs and will continue home tomorrow for a 724 mile day.
